CDPHE said the case had no known connection to earlier reported exposures and no out-of-state travel, and the agency urged people who may have been exposed to watch for symptoms and call ahead before seeking in-person medical care.

CDPHE later confirmed a second measles case in an Adams County resident and said it is the second case linked to Broomfield High School. The state again posted potential exposure locations, including certain times at Broomfield High School and specific businesses in Broomfield and Westminster. CDPHE noted that students and staff who may need additional health precautions would be contacted directly by public health and school officials.

A new pediatric occupational therapy practice, Play for Life, has opened to serve families in the Colorado Springs region. The clinic described services focused on helping children build everyday functional skills through play-based therapy, with an emphasis on supporting families with strategies that can be continued at home.
