Dr. Hoda Bassiri, DDS

Dr. Hoda Bassiri is a dedicated and passionate dentist based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her interest in dentistry began while attending Cummings High School in Burlington, NC. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Minor in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Dr. Bassiri received a full scholarship from the Board of Governors to pursue a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the prestigious University of North Carolina School of Dentistry.

Dr. Bassiri’s dedication to advancing her skills led her to complete a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center, which proved to be vital in her understanding of and ability to surgically place and restore dental implants. She has continued to hone her skills as a general and cosmetic dentist by being an active member of the American Dental Society, NC Dental Society, and Raleigh-Wake County Dental Society, and through continuing education in orthodontics, root canals, oral surgery, periodontal treatment, and prosthodontics.

Apart from her exceptional skills as a dentist, Dr. Bassiri is also a dedicated volunteer, donating countless hours to Wake Smiles Dental Clinic in Raleigh and Missions of Mercy free dental clinics throughout the state of North Carolina, serving those in need who would be unable to afford dental care otherwise.

Dr. Bassiri takes pride in providing beautiful, lasting dentistry using only the most cutting-edge technology. Her top priority is her patients’ comfort, and she finds it extremely rewarding to help them become free of pain and any fears of dentistry. She is also very involved in the dental community, educating and learning with other well-known dentists throughout the United States. She was the founder of a large group of 2500 dentists called “Dentists on Facebook,” the CE Vendor Specialist at Dental Success Network, and the leader of a Spear Study Club.

When she is not in the office, Dr. Bassiri enjoys spending time with her husband and two wonderful boys, Kiyan & Ryaan. She loves to travel, shop, cook, dance, go outdoors, swim, and play soccer.
