All orthodontist
An orthodontist is a dental specialist who focuses on the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental and facial irregularities. Orthodontists receive two to three years of additional training beyond dental school, and specialize in straightening teeth and aligning the bite. They use a variety of techniques and devices, including braces, clear aligners, and retainers, to move teeth into the correct position. Orthodontists work with patients of all ages, from children to adults, and treat a wide range of orthodontic problems, including overbites, underbites, crossbites, open bites, and overcrowded or widely spaced teeth. The goal of orthodontic treatment is to improve the function and appearance of the teeth and bite, while also promoting oral health.
