All hand surgeon
A hand surgeon is a medical doctor who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the hand, wrist, and forearm. They have expertise in surgical and non-surgical treatment of conditions such as fractures, tendon and nerve injuries, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and other conditions affecting the hand and upper extremity. Hand surgeons typically complete specialized training in orthopedics, plastic surgery, or general surgery, followed by additional fellowship training in hand surgery. They work closely with physical therapists and occupational therapists to develop individualized treatment plans for their patients.
