All Dentists in St. John's

Dentists are healthcare professionals who specialize in diagnosing, treating, and preventing oral diseases and conditions. They examine and diagnose oral health problems, such as tooth decay and gum disease, and develop treatment plans to address them. Dentists also educate patients on how to maintain good oral health practices, such as regular brushing and flossing, to prevent future problems. They may perform a variety of procedures, including cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canals, and the placement of dental prosthetics such as dentures and implants. Dentists must complete a degree in dentistry and pass a licensing exam to practice, and may specialize in particular areas of dentistry such as orthodontics or oral surgery. By providing essential care for oral health, dentists play a crucial role in maintaining overall health and well-being.
