Dental Service: DMD in New York

DMD stands for Doctor of Dental Medicine, which is a degree awarded to dentists in some countries, including the United States. In other countries, the equivalent degree is called Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). DMD and DDS degrees are equivalent in terms of the education and training required to become a dentist, and dentists with either degree are qualified to practice general dentistry. The main difference between the two degrees is the title of the degree and the name of the dental school that offers it.
